About the Role

Shalfa Facility Management is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor to join its team in Abha, Asir region. This role focuses on ensuring the application of occupational health and safety standards in facilities and monitoring compliance with relevant regulations and laws. The role requires experience ranging from two to five years in the field.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor is responsible for a set of key tasks to ensure a safe work environment, including:

• Monitoring the implementation of laws, regulations, and instructions related to occupational health and safety in facilities.
• Conducting periodic and emergency inspections at work sites, recording the results, and comparing them with approved standards.
• Preparing and using equipment and devices to measure environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, noise, and vibration, and documenting the results.
• Following up on the mitigation of hazards resulting from environmental factors with the relevant authorities.
• Preparing requirements for incident and injury investigations, conducting investigations, and documenting the results.
• Developing occupational health and safety instructions and procedures, safe work and evacuation instructions, and raising awareness among employees about them.
• Preparing, documenting, and archiving periodic work reports.

Qualifications and Experience

To fill this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Practical experience ranging from two to five years in the field of occupational health and safety.
• A deep understanding of laws and regulations related to occupational health and safety.
• The ability to conduct inspections and investigate incidents.
• Good skills in report writing and information documentation.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the city of Abha, Asir region. The role requires working in a dynamic environment that necessitates field monitoring and coordination with various departments to ensure the application of safety standards.
