About the Role

Al-Rukn Al-Awwal Engineering Consultancy is looking for an OSH Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time role focuses on developing and implementing occupational safety and health procedures at work sites, identifying hazards, and ensuring a safe working environment. The role requires 0 to 1 year of experience.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to prepare and develop the foundations, rules, and procedures for occupational safety and health at work sites. This includes identifying occupational hazards and establishing mechanisms to avoid them, as well as providing safety equipment and supplies and monitoring their use. The engineer is also responsible for preparing specialized documents and reports on work results to ensure compliance with approved standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop occupational safety and health foundations, procedures, and instructions, such as safety policies, safe working instructions, evacuation instructions, safety committee guidelines, safety records, and medical examination logs, and follow up on their approval and monitor compliance.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards at the worksite, and place necessary warning signs and labels.
• Prepare lists of items, quantities, and specifications for occupational safety and health equipment and supplies, follow up on their procurement, and ensure workers' compliance with their use.
• Develop work methods and procedures and keep pace with technical developments in occupational safety and health.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports related to engineering works, projects, and progress rates, present and clarify them, and maintain them in the database according to approved policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in occupational safety and health.
• Ability to prepare and develop occupational safety foundations and procedures.
• Good skills in hazard identification and developing preventive solutions.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time position located in Dammam, Eastern Province. The engineer will work within a specialized team at Al-Rukn Al-Awwal Engineering Consultancy, providing a supportive environment for professional development in the field of safety.
