1. Support engineering and project activities for EHV/HV/LV power transmission and distribution projects.

2. Provide technical support for projects involving:

   • Electrical Substations

   • Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL)

   • Underground (UG) Cables

   • STATCOM systems

3. Review engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and project documentation.

4. Support the preparation and review of engineering deliverables in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.

5. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management teams.

6. Provide technical input during equipment selection, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

7. Monitor engineering deliverables, project milestones, technical issues, and action items.

8. Participate in project and technical meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.

9. Maintain project records, technical documentation, meeting minutes, action trackers, and correspondence.

10. Prepare and contribute to management reports, progress reports, technical reports, and project presentations.

11. Coordinate technical interfaces between different engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.

12. Support identification and resolution of technical issues, design discrepancies, and project risks.

13. Assist in monitoring project activities against approved schedules, specifications, quality requirements, and project objectives.

14. Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable technical standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.

15. Provide technical guidance and support to engineering team members where required.

16. Maintain effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Engineering Specialists

University Degree – Bachelor in Engineering with

special subject of power transmission & distribution.

Nine (9) years of experience, which Seven (7) years

shall be in the relevant field and discipline and must

be in Engineering, Design, Procurement, Project

Management, of EHV/HV/LV Power Transmission

projects involving Electrical Substation, OHTL/UG

Cables, STATCOM.

Must have good technical background with

management skills and well conversant with

management reporting, records keeping, meetings,

coordination and correspondence.

Good command of written and spoken English

language is necessary. Similar qualification for Arabic

language is desirable & becomes added qualification.
