As a FLS Technician, you’re not just performing daily guest room maintenance– you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Inspect Fire & Life Safety Systems: Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire pumps, and other fire and life safety equipment.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled testing, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of fire and life safety systems to ensure they remain operational and compliant.
• Respond to Safety Issues: Promptly respond to reported fire and life safety system faults and assist in resolving issues or escalating them when required.
• Conduct Safety Inspections: Regularly inspect designated areas of the hotel to identify potential fire and life safety hazards and report any issues requiring attention.
• Maintain Documentation: Accurately record inspections, tests, maintenance activities, and system faults in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Support Emergency Preparedness: Assist with emergency response procedures, fire drills, and testing of emergency systems to ensure the hotel is prepared for potential incidents.
• Support the Engineering Team: Assist with other fire and life safety-related maintenance tasks and departmental projects as required.
