About the Role

Sinopec Tech Middle East is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and involves the critical tasks of assembling, disassembling, maintaining, testing, packaging, marking, and inspecting oilfield drilling and completion tools. The Mechanical Assembler ensures that all products consistently meet established quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
• Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and equipment using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, reporting complex problems to workshop supervisors for further assistance.
• Ensure full compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering strictly to standard operating procedures.

Essential Qualifications

• A diploma in maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using thread make-up units and pressure test equipment.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Dhahran, within the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a workshop environment focused on the assembly and maintenance of specialized oilfield tools.
