About the Electrical Technician II Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electrical Technician II to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves leading, supervising, and coordinating day-to-day Instrument maintenance activities, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day Instrument maintenance activities.
• Develop maintenance activities for all Instrument systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
• Act as the focal point for daily Instrument maintenance execution plans.
• Ensure technicians comply with SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during maintenance activities.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper work execution and check on routine maintenance activities.
• Lead technicians assigned to the area.
• Receive work directions from the Instrument foreman and translate these directions into actions.
• Follow up on Instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports with recommendations.
• Keep records of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports, where applicable.
• Work closely with the Instrument foreman in recommending and implementing changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of Instrument/instrument systems.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations and ensure that all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken care of during conducting onsite maintenance works.
• Ensure that personnel have the skills, training, and all needed resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner, according to the contract terms and conditions.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a High School qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a Diploma.
• Certifications:
  • Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.

Technical Knowledge and Essential Skills

• Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Instrument systems.
  • Good knowledge in Instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
  • Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations to develop activities taking care of Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
