Job Details

To be responsible for the efficient management of medical supplies, equipment, and logistics across the Club’s medical departments, including the First Team, Academy, Multisport, and Women’s teams, ensuring the timely availability, proper maintenance, and effective distribution of all medical resources to support athlete care and operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Medical Equipment and Supplies Management

  • Oversee the maintenance and technical support of medical devices used in the clinics and on the field.
  • Ensure proper storage, inventory, and replenishment of medical supplies, including taping materials, medicines, and treatment tools.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.

Hospital Coordination and Player Medical Appointments

  • Schedule and manage medical appointments for players and staff, including MRI scans, X-rays, and specialist consultations.
  • Coordinate and keep record of hospital referrals and derivations, ensuring seamless communication between the club and external healthcare providers.
  • Track and document medical reports and results for follow-up with the medical team.

Supplier and Procurement Coordination

  • Maintain direct communication with the purchasing department regarding medical supplies and equipment needs.
  • Develop strong partnerships with medical suppliers locally and internationally to secure high-quality products and cost-effective deals.
  • Oversee orders, deliveries, and stock levels, ensuring continuous availability of essential medical items and a clear record of the requested orders and/or deliveries across all departments

Administration and Compliance

  • Maintain detailed records of medical inventory, purchases, and expenses.
  • Ensure all medical supplies and pharmaceuticals meet regulatory standards and expiration dates.
  • Assist in budget planning for medical department expenses.

Other

  • Ensure all continuous professional development and training courses are up to date and the minimum professional standards of the department are met.
  • Further duties at the discretion of the line manager or Sporting Director

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree or certification in healthcare administration, medical logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Extensive experience in a medical role within a professional sports environment, preferably football

Demonstrable experience in medical services and healthcare operations

Proven experience in sports medicine administration or medical supply and equipment management

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail

Experience working with elite athletes, ideally football players, and understanding of the demands of professional sport

Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with medical staff, suppliers, and hospital networks

Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, inventory control, and supply chain management

Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is an advantage

Multilingual capability, particularly English (required), Arabic, and Spanish
