The Role

Devoteam Middle East is seeking an Applications Development Project Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing the end-to-end delivery of complex software products and applications, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager will lead project planning within Agile frameworks, coordinate technical resources, and manage risks inherent to software lifecycles, maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead applications development projects from initiation to closure, overseeing the full planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software products.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Agile methodologies, establishing clear objectives, sprints, milestones, and delivery timelines.
• Define and manage project scope and technical resources, coordinating between developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and availability.
• Proactively manage risks and mitigate disruptions, specifically addressing security vulnerabilities within a DevSecOps framework and handling scope changes effectively.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders while providing regular updates on project health and quality control.
• Track project progress, adjusting plans when necessary to ensure all software delivery goals and KPIs are met.
• Manage project financials and track invoices and milestones to ensure adherence to the financial constraints of the engagement.
• Adhere to project management office practices and governance.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within applications development or complex software product delivery. The role requires experience in overseeing project performance through DevOps and DevSecOps lenses, tracking progress, resolving technical bottlenecks, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves contributing to improving project management practices and governance within the organization, driving digital transformation in a fast-paced environment.
