Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hydraulic Technician to join its full-time truck equipment installation and repair team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This role is integral to ensuring the reliable operation of hydraulic systems on a diverse range of commercial trucks.

Role Summary

The Hydraulic Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems and related mechanical components. This involves working on various commercial trucks, including bulkers, tipper trucks, and flatbeds. The position requires hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to accurately interpret technical diagrams and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Install hydraulic systems and equipment on new and existing trucks, including pumps, motors, PTOs, valves, cylinders, hoses, and hydraulic tanks for bulkers, hoppers, or other specialized equipment.
• Test hydraulic systems for leaks, pressure levels, and proper operation following installation.
• Perform hydraulic hose and fitting installations in accordance with specified standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on hydraulic systems of bulkers and hoppers.
• Repair or replace damaged hydraulic lines, fittings, cylinders, and valves.
• Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and mechanical issues in truck-mounted equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used on job cards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other technicians, fabricators, and the maintenance manager to meet project deadlines.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve system designs or installation processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area and with tools.
• Execute any other related tasks as required by the role.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A technical school diploma or technical/vocational training in hydraulics or mechanical systems is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulic system installation or a similar mechanical technician role.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, fittings, and fluid power principles.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools used in hydraulic installation.
• Familiarity with PTOs, hydraulic pumps, motors, and other truck-mounted equipment.
• Fabrication and repair experience is considered an asset.
