About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Storekeeper/Receiving professional to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the efficient management of incoming merchandise. The primary responsibility involves receiving, staging, appropriately marking, and delivering goods to their respective departments within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts according to established procedures.
• Complete requisition forms accurately for inventory and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management promptly of any low stock situations.
• Receive deliveries, ensure proper storage of perishables, and implement stock rotation practices.
• Inspect all incoming deliveries, verifying dates and items for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and overall quality across case lots.
• Refuse acceptance of any damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety and handling policies and procedures in food-related areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Comfortable moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as ascending and descending stairs and/or service ramps.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience in a storekeeping or receiving role.
• No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• No specific license or certification is mandatory.
