The Opportunity: Technical Project Manager

HPE Aruba Networking is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, hybrid role, requiring an average of two days per week to be worked from an HPE office. The Technical Project Manager will lead customer engagements, ensuring that all project scope, time, budget, and quality expectations are met through effective planning, control, and management. This position involves managing corporate, customer, and third-party vendor efforts to plan, sell, and implement solutions, encompassing both business and team management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer project delivery, including revenue targets, for large or moderately complex projects at local or sub-regional levels, addressing medium to high risks and medium complexity legal and commercial issues.
• Oversee project financials, including Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring adherence to SOAR approved budgets and providing reliable financial forecasts to management.
• Drive business development by identifying and cultivating new opportunities within existing projects, supporting qualification and opportunity assessment for large and moderately complex deals, and acting as an opportunity manager for medium to high-risk engagements.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships, managing mid to upper-level client delivery interactions and frequently representing the organization to external customers and clients.
• Lead and manage project teams, comprising both internal and external resources, typically with a team size of less than 20 people. This includes mentoring team members, encouraging skill development, and providing input for performance reviews and development areas.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A First Level University degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or similar roles within relevant businesses.

Technical Skills and Project Experience

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in managing technical infrastructure projects, including:

• HPE product implementations (*, Servers, storage, Aruba, PCBE, Zerto, Morpheus, VME).
• Openshift and Ansible implementations.
• Data center relocation projects.
• Data center migration projects (Physical to Virtual and Virtual to Virtual).
• Data center migrations to cloud environments.
• Disaster recovery implementations.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates under a hybrid work model, requiring an average of two days per week to be worked from an HPE office. The role involves leading diverse teams and managing critical client relationships within a dynamic technology environment.
