About the Role

The IT branch company is seeking a Project Management Director to join its team in Riyadh. This leadership role assumes overall responsibility for supervising project and program management activities and offers an opportunity for experienced professionals in leading projects and achieving strategic objectives within a dynamic work environment.

Job Objective

The main objective of the Project Management Director is to oversee the development and execution of projects and programs, tracking all phases from planning to closure. This includes monitoring workflow, tracking budgets and contractual procedures, and identifying costs and funding sources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet their defined objectives within the allocated timelines and budgets.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of project and program plans, guide budget estimates and determine human, technical, and equipment requirements, ensuring their availability on time and within the estimated cost.
• Define project assumptions and interdependencies with other projects or programs to ensure optimal use of available resources, identify project risks and outline steps to avoid and resolve them effectively.
• Coordinate with project teams to review completed work and remaining stages, ensure adherence to project scope, adopted project management standards, and quality specifications; manage change processes according to the plans.
• Coordinate and monitor the completion of major project stages and closeout, assess how well project outputs meet objectives, and ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of all project documents, templates, and reports.
• Prepare periodic reports on project progress, manage challenges and risks, measure performance indicators and success factors, and present these reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Practical experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in project and program management.
• A strong track record of supervising multiple projects and delivering them successfully within budget and schedule.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will work within a specialized team contributing to the company’s strategic objectives.
