An experienced Production Manager is sought for a confectionery and chocolate factory in Riyadh. This role involves overseeing production operations, implementing effective production plans, and enhancing product quality while minimizing waste. Leadership skills are essential for managing the production team and ensuring operational compliance.

Location: Industrial Gateway City - Riyadh

Responsibilities:

• Managing production operations and planning production capacity and labor according to work requirements.
• Preparing and monitoring production plans and ensuring the achievement of required quantities within specified deadlines.
• Improving production efficiency and reducing waste and spoilage while optimizing resource utilization.
• Monitoring production execution according to approved recipes and technical standards, coordinating with specialists to address any technical deviations.
• Managing the production team, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Analyzing production capacity, identifying operational bottlenecks, and proposing improvements to production lines and necessary equipment to enhance efficiency and production capacity, in coordination with relevant departments.
• Monitoring equipment readiness and ensuring continuous operation, coordinating with maintenance.
• Preparing reports and monitoring production, cost, waste, and productivity indicators, analyzing reasons for deviations.
• Developing procedures and work methods to improve production operations efficiency.

Skills

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in food, confectionery, and chocolate factories.
• Practical experience in Production Planning, Production Control & Productivity Management.
• Experience in managing production teams and analyzing production and waste data.
• Familiarity with the confectionery and chocolate industry, modern production methods, and equipment used, with the ability to develop work methods and production lines.
• Proficiency in Excel, with ERP systems experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
