NOW HIRING A SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR – MEP
Our client is a leading MEP contractor delivering major projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Role:The Supply Chain Director – MEP will lead the end-to-end supply chain function across multiple projects throughout Saudi Arabia. This role will oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing, compliance, governance, and supplier performance, ensuring materials are delivered efficiently while supporting project delivery, cost control, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the day-to-day management of the supply chain function across multiple MEP projects throughout the Kingdom. Oversee procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Manage logistics, warehousing, transportation, and material distribution across all project sites. Develop and maintain supply chain governance, compliance processes, and operational standards. Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to improve performance and service levels. Monitor inventory planning and demand forecasting to ensure material availability while reducing excess stock. Drive cost optimisation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency. Work closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Project teams to support project delivery. Lead and develop the supply chain team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Ensure all supply chain activities comply with company policies and local regulations.
Requirements:20+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, including leadership experience. Proven experience with leading MEP contractors, main contractors, or EPC contractors delivering large-scale construction projects Experience managing supply chain operations across multiple projects and locations. Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, warehousing, compliance, and supply chain governance. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar. Strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier management skills. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or CPSM are highly desirable. Middle East experience is essential. Arabic speaker preferred.
