Roles & Responsibilities

As Brand & Business Communications Manager, PepsiCo Middle East Foods, you will lead the development and execution of the communications agenda for PepsiCo s foods portfolio across the Middle East, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia and the UAE. You will be responsible for building brand relevance, strengthening reputation, and driving earned engagement through media relations, influencer engagement, partnerships, activations, and compelling storytelling. Working closely with marketing, insights, commercial, and corporate affairs teams, you will help amplify key campaigns while also creating and leading brand-led communications opportunities that generate meaningful consumer and stakeholder engagement throughout the year. In addition, you will lead communications and storytelling for key foods business priorities, including agriculture, manufacturing, innovation, R&D, and strategic partnerships, helping showcase PepsiCo s contribution to the region and strengthen the reputation of the foods business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the communications strategy for PepsiCo s foods portfolio across the Middle East, translating brand and business priorities into an integrated earned media, influencer, and engagement agenda.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual PR and influencer plans for priority food brands and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, business priorities, and PepsiCo guidelines.
  • Partner closely with marketing teams to identify opportunities for communications support and amplification across key campaigns, launches, partnerships, and consumer activations.
  • Identify, develop, and execute brand-led communications opportunities throughout the year that strengthen brand relevance, reputation, and cultural connection beyond traditional campaign amplification. This includes earned-first initiatives, partnerships, media collaborations, events, and storytelling platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, content creators, influencers, and industry stakeholders across priority markets to drive earned coverage and meaningful engagement.
  • Lead the development and management of strategic brand partnerships with media platforms, publishers, and cultural partners, identifying opportunities that strengthen brand visibility, engagement, and relevance.
  • Manage agency partners from briefing through execution and evaluation, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong strategic counsel, and effective budget management.
  • Oversee the development, localization, and quality control of communications materials, including press releases, media statements, key messages, Q&As, briefing documents, influencer content, and other communications assets, in English and Arabic.
  • Partner with marketing and legal teams to review and provide communications guidance on social media content, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, corporate guidelines, reputational considerations, and local market sensitivities.
  • Lead communications planning and storytelling for key foods business priorities, including agriculture, manufacturing, innovation, R&D, and strategic partnerships, working with cross-functional teams to showcase PepsiCo s impact and contribution across the region.
  • Identify and secure relevant speaking, media, and external engagement opportunities for marketing leaders and subject matter experts, helping elevate PepsiCo s brands, innovation agenda, and industry leadership.
  • Support communications planning and execution for key business milestones, site visits, launches, events, partnerships, and external engagements related to the foods business across the region.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report communications performance, media sentiment, and campaign impact, providing insights and recommendations to strengthen effectiveness and support business objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in communications, public relations, brand communications, or related fields, preferably within FMCG, consumer brands, media, or agency environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi media, influencer, and cultural landscape, with broader awareness of the Middle East market.
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated PR, influencer, and communications campaigns for consumer brands.
  • Strong storytelling and content development skills, with the ability to translate business and brand priorities into compelling narratives.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and multiple stakeholders across functions and markets.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Experience working on agriculture, manufacturing, sustainability, innovation, or corporate storytelling initiatives is a plus.
