About the Role
We are seeking a Cost Senior Specialist to oversee the financial health of projects by monitoring resource allocation against approved budgets. You will perform technical cost analysis, identify variances, and provide actionable reporting to ensure projects remain profitable and within financial constraints, using Earned Value Management (EVM) and ERP-driven cost data.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget Monitoring: Track project resources across labor, materials, and equipment to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
- Technical Cost Analysis: Analyze cost components in relation to technical progress, supporting Value Engineering and Cost Impact evaluations.
- Performance Reporting (Weekly/Monthly): Prepare periodic performance reports using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology.
- Variance Analysis: Identify budget deviations, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions and recovery plans.
- ERP & Data Support: Collaborate with finance and project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting outputs from ERP systems.

Job Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) or PMP are highly preferred.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in project cost control (preferably Construction, Contracting, or Manufacturing).
- Proven experience working with ERP systems, such as Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, and data visualization).
- Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and application.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear management reporting.
- Introduction / basic experience with Microsoft Power BI (preferred).

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Good command of English and Arabic.
