Your new role
As a System Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of mission-critical applications within a robust Linux environment. Your core responsibilities include:Deployment & Automation: Deploy Java-based applications on RHEL servers and automate configuration and patching using Ansible or Puppet. System Administration: Perform advanced Linux (RHEL) administration, including network configurations, system hardening, and troubleshooting performance optimizations. Database Support: Maintain the Oracle Database environment, collaborating with DBAs on schema deployments and backup strategies. Middleware & App Support: Provide first-level defect analysis and configuration management for Java (Spring Boot) and Flowable BPM applications. Infrastructure Security: Manage LDAP and PKI concepts to ensure secure, compliant, and high-availability production environments. Continuous Improvement: Develop scripts to improve operational efficiency and contribute to Dev Ops best practices (CI/CD).

What you'll need to succeed
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Linux system administration or application deployment roles. Technical Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL) administration and a solid understanding of network configuration. Automation Tools: Proven experience with Ansible, Puppet, or similar automation frameworks. Database & Java: Strong knowledge of Oracle Database concepts and familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and BPM tools (preferably Flowable). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Soft Skills: Ability to work under pressure in mission-critical environments with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Location: Candidates based in Saudi Arabia are preferred. Bonus Points: Experience with Energy Management Systems, CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Git Lab), or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
