The Production Manager – Precast Concrete Plant is responsible for the end-to-end establishment, Saudi Aramco qualification, Vendor ID acquisition, commissioning, and long-term operation of the precast concrete manufacturing facility. The role ensures that the precast plant is successfully set up, approved by Saudi Aramco, and sustainably operated in full compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project requirements, and industry best practices, while delivering safe, high-quality, cost-effective precast products throughout the lifecycle of the business. Key Responsibilities1. Plant Establishment, Commissioning & Readiness Lead the setup, installation, and commissioning of the precast concrete plant and yard. Define and implement plant layout, production lines, casting beds, mold systems, curing methods, storage areas, and material flow. Develop and implement SOPs, work instructions, production procedures, and control systems. Ensure readiness of manpower, equipment, systems, and processes for operational startup. Manage trial production and transition from commissioning to full-scale operations.2. Saudi Aramco Approval & Vendor ID Acquisition Lead and manage the full Saudi Aramco qualification and approval process for precast concrete scope. Prepare, coordinate, and submit all required documentation for Saudi Aramco evaluation, including:Technical and production capability documents Quality Management System (QMS) documentation HSE procedures and records Operational and manpower details Act as the main focal point with Saudi Aramco, auditors, and third-party inspectors. Coordinate internal departments to address audit findings, gaps, and corrective actions. Ensure successful issuance of the Saudi Aramco Vendor ID for the precast concrete business. Maintain Vendor ID compliance and readiness for periodic audits and re-evaluations.3. Precast Production & Long-Term Plant Operations Manage day-to-day plant operations following commissioning and Aramco approval. Plan, control, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly precast production schedules. Oversee all production stages including:Support fabrication and fixing Formwork and mold preparation Concrete casting, curing, demolding, and finishing Storage, handling, loading, and delivery Ensure stable, continuous, and efficient production aligned with project schedules. Concrete Batch Plant Production & Dispatch Manage day-to-day operations of the concrete batch plant, including batching, mixing, loading, and dispatch. Ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply of concrete to project sites in accordance with pour schedules. Oversee dispatch planning, fleet coordination (transit mixers, pumps), and delivery sequencing. Monitor and control batching accuracy, mix consistency, and production volumes. Coordinate closely with site teams to manage time-critical pours and minimize rejected loads. 4. Quality Control & Saudi Aramco Compliance Ensure full compliance with:Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) Approved shop drawings, ITPs, and QCPsASTM, ACI, and SASO standards Coordinate with QA/QC and laboratory teams to ensure:Concrete testing and validation Dimensional accuracy and visual quality checks Maintain full traceability, documentation, and records required for Saudi Aramco audits. Lead closure of NCRs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Candidate Profile Education Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Materials Engineering. Technical diploma with extensive precast concrete experience may be considered. Experience Minimum 12–15 years of experience in precast concrete manufacturing. Proven experience in establishing, commissioning, and operating a precast concrete plant. Minimum 5 years in a senior production or plant management role. Direct, hands-on experience supporting Saudi Aramco projects is mandatory. Knowledge & Certifications (Preferred) Strong working knowledge of:Saudi Aramco precast and civil standards (SAES) ASTM, ACI, and SASO concrete standards Precast manufacturing systems and methodologies ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 awareness NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification (preferred) Skills & Competencies End-to-end precast plant startup and operational leadership Strong Saudi Aramco compliance and audit capability Production planning, scheduling, and optimization Cost control and operational efficiency Leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders
