About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Shift Charge Engineer – SWRO to lead and manage our SWRO plant operations during assigned shifts. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient water production while acting as the highest authority on shift for operational integrity and continuity. Key Responsibilities:Lead SWRO plant operations during the shift, ensuring production targets and water quality standards are achieved. Make critical operational decisions during abnormal or emergency conditions. Plan shifts, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to operating procedures. Perform electrical switching for equipment isolation and energization as required. Interface with maintenance teams: identify equipment issues, supervise LOTO/PTW activities, and confirm post-maintenance readiness. Enforce HSSE compliance, lead shift-level safety meetings, risk assessments, and incident reporting. Guide, mentor, and develop operators; foster teamwork and operational discipline. Identify operational improvement opportunities and participate in RCA and performance optimization initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent. Experience: 8–10 years in SWRO/desalination operations, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or shift leadership role. Hands-on experience with DCS, SCADA, and plant control systems. Strong understanding of HSSE, PTW, and LOTO systems. Proven ability to manage abnormal operations and emergency situations.
