Job Description – Finance Manager (Saudi Arabia) Location: Saudi Arabia Role Type: Full Time Key Responsibilities Financial Control & Accounting • Act as the Financial Controller for Saudi operations. • Oversee day-to-day accounting, GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and inventory accounting. • Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures within defined timelines. • Maintain strong internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies. • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and provisions. • Ensure proper cost allocation and control across departments/projects. Financial Reporting & MIS • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Develop and manage MIS reports for management and HQ, including: o P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow o Budget vs Actual analysis o Cost center and project-wise reporting • Provide insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. • Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises. • Track variances and recommend corrective actions. • Support long-term financial planning and business expansion analysis. • Monitor cash flow forecasts and working capital requirements. Taxation & Compliance (Saudi Arabia) • Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations, including: o VAT filings and reconciliations o Withholding tax compliance o Zakat / Corporate tax requirements • Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors. • Handle statutory audits and regulatory inspections. • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local laws. Treasury & Cash Management • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and credit facilities. • Monitor receivables, payables, and optimize working capital. • Oversee payments, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations. • Support FX management, if applicable. Stakeholder & Team Management • Coordinate with internal stakeholders: operations, procurement, HR, and sales. • Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities. • Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team. • Ensure finance processes support business growth and efficiency. Qualifications & Experience • CA / CMA / ACCA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. • 8–12+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Saudi/GCC. • Strong experience as Finance Manager / Financial Controller. • Hands-on knowledge of IFRS, VAT, ZATCA, and Saudi compliance. • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, contracting, or project-based industries preferred.
