Job Title Electrical QS IIIDepartment: Contracts and Commercial Division: Quantity Surveying Location: Saudi Arabia We are looking for an experienced Electrical QS III to support the commercial and contracts team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. The role focuses on contract administration payment certification variation management and commercial reporting while ensuring accuracy compliance and financial control. Role Purpose The Electrical QS III will support the project commercial team by verifying contract BoQs preparing client payment applications validating subcontractor payments managing variations final accounts and supporting the overall commercial and financial administration of construction contracts. Key Responsibilities Contract Administration Verify contract BoQs and prepare revised BoQs with detailed comparisons Prepare payment applications to the client Verify subcontractors’ payment applications and follow up to completion Identify evaluate and manage variation orders and their financial impact Support variations administration and document cost implications Prepare and close final accounts independently Verification of Actual Work on Site Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress and compliance Assess work completed prior to submission of payment applications Perform joint site visits to verify subcontractor payment claims Coordinate with QA QC site and commercial teams to ensure accuracy Review approved shop drawings for accurate quantity takeoff Collect and verify approved WIRs and review open NCRs for deductions Ensure all supporting documents are included with payment submissions Professional Development Participate in training programs seminars and professional development activities Apply newly acquired knowledge tools and software to improve performance Team Collaboration Work closely with commercial site and office teams Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders Support team collaboration and contribute to a positive working environment Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying construction or related fields Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles cost control and contract administration Solid understanding of construction contracts such as FIDIC JCT and NECExperience with BoQ preparation variation evaluation and final accounts Ability to read interpret and extract quantities from drawings using Auto CADProficiency in MS Excel Word and Power Point Good command of English for reporting documentation and communication Education and Certification Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying Electrical Engineering or related field Certified Quantity Surveyor CQS from recognized bodies such as RICS or AIQS is preferred Key Skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Effective communication and teamwork skills Critical thinking and contract interpretation capabilities
