Role Description We are seeking a Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, on-site position. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, supporting project controls activities, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with agreed objectives. Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed project schedules and track milestones using planning tools Monitor project progress, analyze performance, and produce regular reporting updates Coordinate with design, engineering, and project teams to align deliverables and timelines Identify risks, delays, and constraints; propose mitigation and recovery plans Support project control processes including resource and timeline forecasting Prepare planning documentation and presentations for internal and client reporting Qualifications Strong experience in planning, scheduling, and production planning Knowledge of project controls and scheduling methodologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project Prior experience in construction or design consulting is an advantage
