Job Summary :
Banking Accountant is responsible for managing all banking-related financial transactions, ensuring proper reconciliation of accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions. In the real estate industry, the role involves handling large-scale project transactions, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities :
Manage daily banking operations including transfers, withdrawals and payment documents. Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records and resolve discrepancies. Process incoming and outgoing payments related to property sales, leasing, and vendor contracts. Prepare daily & monthly bank reconciliation reports and assist in financial audits. Coordinate with property management, sales, and legal departments for financial transactions. Maintain accurate records of bank facilities, loans, and interest payments. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, company policies, and financial reporting standards. Liaise with banks to open/close accounts, update mandates, and negotiate services or terms. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of experience in banking/accounting, preferably in the real estate industry. Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, cash management, and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software (SAP) and MS Excel. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
