Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spa Therapist for a full-time, on-site role at Nammos Resort AMAALA located in Al Wajh. The Spa Therapist role exists to deliver world-class, hands-on treatments that combine technical mastery with genuine care, creating deeply meaningful one-on-one experiences for every guest. Therapists are entrusted with the physical, emotional, and energetic well-being of guests, and this role honors that trust through presence, professionalism, and exceptional skill. By upholding the highest standards of five-star service, hygiene, and personal presentation, Spa Therapists ensure each treatment is safe, effective, and memorable. Beyond treatment delivery, they support the overall success of the spa by educating guests, recommending appropriate products, and thoughtfully promoting additional services—always guided by integrity, expertise, and the guest’s individual needs.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Spa Therapist within a luxury or five-star spa environment.
In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this understanding to safe, effective, and results-driven treatments.
Recognized professional qualification and credentials in Swedish, therapeutic massage, or equivalent hands-on bodywork techniques.
Additional certification in beauty therapy, advanced body treatments, or facial therapies is highly regarded.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create trust, comfort, and connection in a one-to-one treatment setting.
Commercial awareness with the confidence to recommend retail products and additional services in a natural, guest-focused manner.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and professional practice.
Duties And Responsibilities
Deliver all treatments to the highest professional standard, combining technical excellence with genuine care, while adapting each service to the guest’s individual needs and preferences.
Conduct thorough client consultations, reviewing medical history, identifying concerns, ensuring safety, and maintaining strict confidentiality of all personal and treatment-related information.
Provide exceptional guest service throughout the experience, creating a calm, discreet, and welcoming environment and escalating concerns to management when required.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of treatments, products, and spa protocols through continuous learning and required training sessions.
Contribute to the commercial success of the spa by achieving individual retail targets, confidently recommending products, aftercare, and follow-up treatments, and promoting relevant services and offers.
Accurately record sales, client preferences, and treatment details, sharing relevant information with colleagues to enhance future guest experiences.
Arrive punctually, prepared, and impeccably groomed, upholding professional presentation and conduct.
Use products responsibly and according to prescribed guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and waste control.
Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, linens, and products are clean, organized, stocked, and hygienically maintained, following all opening, closing, and sterilization procedures.
Always act responsibly to protect personal safety and the safety of guests and colleagues, immediately reporting any maintenance or operational issues.
Support overall spa operations by assisting spa attendants, reception, or other departments as needed, and by contributing to PR, media trials, promotions, demonstrations, and special events.
