A leading global emerging technology services provider is seeking an accomplished Account Director to lead and expand strategic Energy (Oil & Gas) accounts across Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
This role is central to driving long-term client partnerships, accelerating revenue growth, and positioning the organisation as a trusted transformation partner within the Kingdom’s energy sector.
The Opportunity As Account Director, you will take ownership of a portfolio of large, strategic Energy accounts, with full accountability for growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and retention. You will operate as a senior client advisor, shaping account strategy, unlocking new opportunities, and coordinating internal teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Own and grow a portfolio of strategic downstream Energy accounts in the Eastern Province Build and sustain senior relationships with client executives, including CXOs, CIOs, VPs, and Directors Define the long-term vision and strategy for each account, aligned to client business objectives and transformation priorities Develop and execute annual and multi-year account plans, identifying new growth opportunities and expanding wallet share Drive pipeline creation, sales forecasting, and disciplined pipeline governance Lead new business development initiatives across digital, technology, and services offerings Partner closely with presales, solution architecture, delivery, and finance teams to design solutions, scope engagements, and structure commercial agreements Lead complex deal cycles including proposals, negotiations, renewals, and contract management Oversee the financial health of accounts, including revenue, bookings, margins, and overall P&L performance Act as an internal advocate for the client, ensuring delivery excellence and resolving any operational or people-related challenges Represent the firm as an innovation-led, transformation-focused technology partner with a strong long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia
Requirements 12+ years’ experience in enterprise IT services sales within Tier-1 or Tier-2 global technology services organisations Proven track record managing and growing large, multi-million USD accounts across complex client environments Strong experience within the Energy / Oil & Gas sector Solid understanding of global delivery models and large-scale service engagements Demonstrated ability to drive cross-service growth and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Confident engaging at executive level with a consultative, value-led approach Background across sales, delivery, or pre-sales roles preferred Experience carrying revenue, bookings, and margin targets
