Role Summery:The Lead Specialist, Corporate Finance is responsible for project financing, advanced financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis to support strategic decisions and major projects. This role ensures financial discipline through proactive bank covenant monitoring and treasury support, while leading end-to-end IPO readiness assessments and coordinating closely with external advisors. Key duties include preparing executive presentations and managing performance dashboards to provide actionable insights and track progress against corporate objectives. The position serves as the critical internal coordinator for financial transactions, ensuring alignment and clear communication with senior management and external partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:Strategic Financing, Treasury & Covenant Monitoring: Support capital structure optimization, treasury functions, and liquidity planning. A key responsibility includes the proactive monitoring and management of all bank loan covenants to ensure ongoing compliance, assess potential risks of breach. Financial Modeling, Valuation & Investment Analysis: Build, maintain, and own sophisticated financial models for capital budgeting, project financing, scenario planning, and valuation exercises. This includes performing detailed DCF, NPV, IRR, and sensitivity analyses for major capital investments and strategic projects, ensuring all models are robust, comprehensive, and considering every required operational and financial detail to support high-stakes decision-making. IPO Readiness & Process Leadership: Lead the end-to-end IPO readiness assessment Gaps closure process, drive the closure of these gaps by coordinating and monitoring with all functional departments (Legal, Operations, Finance, HR, IT, etc.). Providing expert guidance and delivering biweekly status updates to the senior manager and top management to ensure the organization remains on track for a successful public listing. Coordination with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) & Due Diligence Advisors: Act as the primary internal coordinator and point of contact for the appointed IFA team throughout the IPO execution phase. This involves supporting the IFA with the submission of the CMA (Capital Market Authority) package, which includes facilitating Due Diligence (Financial, Legal, Market), updating financial models, refining the valuation model and equity story, and engaging with potential investors to showcase the company's value proposition during pre-filing engagements. Executive Communication & Presentation Development: Prepare and deliver clear, compelling, and insightful presentations for the Board, CEO, and senior management on critical topics. This includes regular updates on the IPO process, deep-dive analyses on project financing proposals, explanations of complex financial models, and strategic recommendations to inform and guide top-level decision-making. Strategic Advisor Engagement: Act as the primary internal coordinator for investment banks and due diligence advisors, managing the RFP process, data room administration, IPO, or fundraising activities. Synthesize and escalate key findings and strategic recommendations to senior management. Performance Monitoring & Strategic Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic dashboards to track corporate and financial performance against plans. Analyze monthly/quarterly results to provide actionable insights, explain variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure strategic objectives are met. Decision Support & Business Strategy: Spearhead advanced analytical and financial modeling support for the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting and other functions, performing deep-dive analytics to provide data for decision support. Any other tasks assigned by the seniors related to the Department requirements.
Qualification and Education:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, or management consulting, preferably within manufacturing industry.
Skills:Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (MS Office: especially Excel, Power Point, Visio, think-cell), ERP systems (SAP/MES). Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail. Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts. Team player, ability to work in a flexible way, strategic mindset with a results-oriented, proactive approach and strong project management capabilities. Leadership qualities to mentor junior team members and drive consensus across diverse departments. Professional Certifications:Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, ACCA or CMA, are highly desirable.
