Purpose
Responsible for developing customer retention and growth by providing customer support and field service including, but not limited to: Educating, training, supporting, troubleshooting, writing procedures, field installing and commissioning of GRC Technologies LLC related monitoring Artificial Lift downhole monitoring systems. Specifically, ESP and PDG sensors systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop customer retention and growth through excellence support. Respond to customer’s technical inquiries, and coordinate with the sales & support team to address unresolved technical inquiries. Assist sales to provide accurate bill of material as per application requirements prior to commencing quoting. Travel by air or vehicle on short notice to other countries, after fulfilling the requirements of policies. Provide product training and demonstrations to customers. Provide engineering with customer product performance feedback, enhancements options, functional requirements & field applications. Assemble, install, pull-out and test GRC’s equipment in the shop and/or field to ensure the installed equipment operates effectively and according to customers’ expectations. Monitor the performance of GRC’s equipment, troubleshoot, provide basic root cause failure analysis and report malfunction and related operation topics. Implement installation and maintenance activities within agreed technical specifications, costs, and timelines. Support to conduct installation, programming, commissioning and maintenance final inspections and ensure submitting of job completion tickets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent is required. Proven knowledge of Oil and Gas, Artificial Lift, ESP and PDG gauges is required. Previous 3 years of customer support, troubleshooting and field experience are required. Previous 2 years of ESP related field service experience is required. Previous 5 years of use of electrical test equipment is required. General knowledge of pressure & temperature sensors and surface interface equipment including Variable Speed Drives, RTU and controllers is required. Fluent in English and Arabic. Proficiency in the use of electrical test equipment, such as digital multimeter, TDR, Oscilloscopes and mergers is required. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. ESP Downhole equipment awareness, including specs, material and functionality. ESP pre-commissioning and commissioning experience is required. ESP Surface equipment operations and troubleshooting is required. Technical reporting of surface equipment operations is required. Valid passport with no restrictions that prevent international travel is required. Driving license is required.
