Client for Kafaat is looking for Senior Legal, Contracts & Compliance Manager :
Job Purpose:We are looking for a Senior Legal, Contracts & Compliance Manager to support the Director Legal, Contracts & Compliance in delivering high-quality legal, contractual, governance, and compliance services across our entities in Saudi Arabia and Central Asia. This is a senior, high-impact role with strong leadership exposure, offering a clear development path toward future leadership within the Legal & Compliance function. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business, support strategic transactions, strengthen local governance, and help embed a strong compliance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal advisory & corporate support Provide proactive legal advice on Saudi and regional laws and regulations Support commercial operations, bids, tenders, projects, and contracts Assist with disputes, claims, and litigation, coordinating with external counsel Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks Contract management & commercial support Support the full contract lifecycle: drafting, review, negotiation, and interpretation Advise project teams on contractual risks, variations, claims, and dispute avoidance Ensure compliance with internal policies, approvals, and delegation of authority Contribute to contract templates, playbooks, and best practices Compliance & ethics Support implementation and continuous improvement of the compliance framework, including:Anti-corruption & integrity Antitrust & competition law Data protection & privacy Third-party risk & compliance controls Assist with compliance risk assessments, investigations, reporting, and training Act as a local compliance ambassador and trusted point of contact Corporate governance & secretarial Support corporate governance across KSA & Central Asia entities Coordinate board and shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, and regulatory filings Ensure compliance with Saudi Companies Law and local regulations M&A & strategic transactions Support M&A, restructurings, joint ventures, and strategic projects Assist with due diligence, transaction documentation, and regulatory approvals Stakeholder & authority interface Act as a key interface with Saudi authorities and regulators Manage relationships with external law firms and advisors
What we’re looking for Experience & qualifications
–10 years’ experience in legal, contracts, and compliance roles Strong experience in Saudi Arabia, ideally in a multinational or regulated environment Fully qualified lawyer (LL. M or equivalent in Commercial / Corporate Law) Solid knowledge of Saudi legal and regulatory frameworks Skills & profile Saudi national (Saudization requirement) Fluent in Arabic and English Strong legal judgment with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset High integrity, leadership potential, and ownership mentality Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills Nice to have Experience in defense, infrastructure, energy, industrial, or similarly regulated sectors Exposure to international legal standards and cross-border work
