General Description

This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining assigned equipment or machinery as an Operator. It requires a practical understanding of operational procedures, safety standards, and company guidelines. The role will plan daily operational tasks, coordinate with site and project teams, and deliver efficient and safe operation of equipment in support of project and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe and reliable operation of assigned machinery, tools, or equipment as per job requirements. Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and readiness through regular inspections and basic maintenance. Operate equipment following standard operating procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and site safety rules. Handle routine troubleshooting, adjustments, and reporting of any equipment faults or abnormalities. Support site teams during equipment mobilization, setup, operation, or shutdown. Establish proper operating practices to ensure equipment performance, efficiency, and safety. Deliver reports as daily activity logs, equipment checklists, fuel/usage records, and operational updates. Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, and project staff to ensure smooth and coordinated operations. Conduct any other tasks or projects assigned by the direct line manager.

Qualification Requirements

High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent. Certified in equipment operation, safety, or relevant technical training courses. Proven experience of 5 years as an operator in a related field. Working knowledge of equipment handling, operational procedures, and basic maintenance practices. Basic skills of troubleshooting, inspection, record keeping, and safe operation. Valid driving or equipment operation license as required by local regulations. Good computer proficiency and ability to deliver basic reports. Good ability to work within a team to achieve results. Ability to work under pressure, work flexible hours to meet deadlines. Good verbal communication skills in English language. Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
