Job Summary We are looking for a skilled App Dynamics Implementation & Deployment Engineer to design, implement, configure, and support App Dynamics APM solutions across enterprise environments. The role involves close collaboration with application, infrastructure, Dev Ops, and business teams to ensure end-to-end application performance visibility and proactive monitoring. Key Responsibilities App Dynamics Implementation & Configuration Install, configure, and deploy App Dynamics Controllers, Agents (Java, . NET, Machine, DB, Browser, Analytics) across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod). Configure Business Transactions, Health Rules, Policies, Alerts, and Dashboards. Set up custom metrics, baselines, and thresholds aligned with business KPIs. Perform application discovery and mapping of tiers, nodes, and backend services. Deployment & Integration Deploy App Dynamics agents using manual, scripted, or CI/CD pipelines. Integrate App Dynamics with:CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops) ITSM tools (Service Now) Logging tools (Splunk, ELK) Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Support on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Monitoring & Performance Optimization Monitor application performance, availability, and user experience. Analyze performance bottlenecks related to CPU, memory, threads, garbage collection, database calls, and external services. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and provide actionable recommendations. Support performance testing and production issue troubleshooting. Operations & Support Handle App Dynamics upgrades, patches, and agent version management. Maintain documentation, runbooks, and monitoring standards. Provide L2/L3 support and work with vendors when required. Ensure monitoring compliance with security and organizational standards. Required Skills Technical Skills Strong experience with App Dynamics APM (Controller, Agents, Dashboards). Hands-on experience with Java / . NET applications. Good understanding of:Application architecture (Monolith, Microservices) Web servers & app servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Web Logic, IIS) Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) OS knowledge: Linux & Windows Networking basics (Ports, Firewalls, Load Balancers) Scripting knowledge (Shell, Power Shell, Python – preferred) Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and stakeholder management Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Documentation and knowledge-sharing mindset Certifications (preferred) Cisco App Dynamics Certification Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure) ITIL Foundation App Dynamics Implementation Location Onsite- Saudi Arabia
