Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the industrial or marine electrical field, with a preference for offshore drilling rig or heavy industrial plant experience. Education: Completion of a formal electrical program (e.g., Trade School, Apprenticeship, Diploma in Electrical Technology). Safety Certifications (Mandatory):First Aid and CPR certified. H₂S (Hydrogen Sulfide) certified. Valid offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET/FOET, HUET). Offshore Medical Certificate. Language: Fluent in English, spoken and written, for effective communication during handovers, reporting, and emergency situations. Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Knowledge of PLC and VFD fundamentals is highly desirable.
