As part of the launch of a new delivery office in Al Qassim, we are looking for a SAUDI Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, optimize, and secure mission-critical databases in a production environment. This role focuses on database performance, availability, reliability, and operational stability, with strong ownership of Mongo DB platforms. You will work closely with engineering, Dev Ops, and operations teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and optimize Mongo DB databases to ensure performance, availability, and reliability. Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning. Develop and execute efficient scripts and queries without impacting system stability. Ensure backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and security best practices are implemented. Troubleshoot database incidents and resolve production issues efficiently. Maintain replication, sharding, and high-availability configurations. Collaborate closely with Dev Ops and engineering teams to support application needs. Document database configurations, procedures, and operational standards.
Requirements & Qualifications+3 Years of experience Proven hands-on experience as a Mongo DB Database Administrator. Strong expertise in query optimization and performance tuning. Solid understanding of replication, sharding, and high-availability architectures. Experience with scripting (Java Script, Python, or Shell). Ability to support mission-critical, production environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
