JOB PURPOSE:To act as a Senior Consultant responsible for leading ERP projects, managing system changes, and serving as a process expert to ensure ERP solutions are designed, implemented, and continuously improved in alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and enterprise standards. The role ensures stable operations, effective change adoption, and optimized end-to-end business processes across the organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead and manage end to end ERP initiatives including system implementations, enhancements, rollouts, and upgrades. Act as the primary ERP subject matter expert during project lifecycle phases (initiation, design, build, test, deploy, and Post Go live support). Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of ERP projects. Ensure project scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks are actively managed and communicated. Support the reporting manager in the design, standardization, automation, and optimization of ERP enabled business processes. Ensure ERP processes are aligned with enterprise standards, internal controls, and best practices. Monitor process effectiveness on a day to day basis and recommend corrective or preventive actions where required. Manage ERP change requests, ensuring proper impact assessment, prioritization, approvals, testing, and deployment. Ensure system changes are implemented in a controlled manner without disrupting business operations. Support governance frameworks for ERP changes using approved tools and methodologies. Ensure compliance with all relevant ERP policies, procedures, and system governance standards. Contribute to cost-effective utilization of ERP systems and resources, reducing rework, inefficiencies, and unnecessary customizations. Ensure system documentation, process flows, and functional specifications are maintained and up to date. Ensure ERP services meet defined quality standards and business requirements. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance system performance, usability, and process efficiency. Recommend and implement approved system or process improvements based on operational insights, industry trends, and business needs. Act as a trusted advisor to business users on ERP capabilities and optimal system usage. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within ERP processes, systems, and service delivery. Promote standardization and simplification of processes across functions and entities. Support the organization’s digital transformation and long-term ERP roadmap. Engage effectively with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into ERP solutions. Work closely with implementation partners and support vendors to ensure service quality, accountability, and knowledge transfer. Review vendor deliverables and ensure adherence to agreed scope and standards. Ensure ERP solutions and processes support compliance, auditability, and risk management requirements. Support business change adoption by contributing to training, communication, and user readiness activities. Demonstrate adaptability during organizational and system changes and actively participate in change initiatives, programs, and projects aligned with international best practices.
Education / Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering. Certifications:SAP Certifications or equivalent ERPSix sigma ITLTExperience Required: 5-7 years
