JOB PURPOSE:To support the development and enhancement of vendor-based logistics services that contribute to DP World Logistics’ product offering. The postholder will coordinate with approved service providers to ensure reliable service execution, cost efficiency, and compliance with company standards. Responsible for building the vendor ecosystem as a business enabler and product platform that generates new revenue streams and strengthens service delivery capabilities - as sparring partner to Commercial function boosting market penetration to accomplish (Volume, Revenue, Margins) objectives successfully.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Support the implementation of vendor-driven logistics solutions in coordination with Commercial and Operations teams as business partner. Assist in sourcing and onboarding approved vendors (transporters, carriers, NVOCC) following defined evaluation and compliance criteria. Leverage vendor partnerships to introduce new revenue streams, improve margins, and enhance profitability through innovative commercial models. Maintain vendor database and governance records, including contracts, performance reports, licenses, contracts, SOPs and renewal schedules. Support commercial teams with vendor insights, rate updates, and service capabilities that enable conversions Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve vendor-related and customer-related service issues and drive continuous improvement enabling DPWL to deliver best in class service and surpass Volume, Revenue and Profitability targets.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 6 years in logistics or freight forwarding with exposure to vendor coordination or operations. Strong coordination and relationship management skills. Understanding of logistics service models and basic commercial terms. Ability to monitor vendor performance and support improvements. Experience negotiating commercial contracts, SLAs, and pricing structures with external vendors to drive profitability and cost efficiency. Exposure to regional logistics markets (KSA/GCC preferred), including knowledge of transport, warehousing, and value-added services. Background in business development, commercial strategy, or product management within a logistics environment is highly desirable. Effective communicator with experience engaging senior leadership, customers, and external partners.
