Infrastructure Engineer Job Purpose : designs, builds, manages and supports the infrastructure services for all internal services and Production services for IT Data Center including the provisioning of support services to end users. Design, develop, implement and support infrastructure requirements, and monitor and control the performance of the infrastructure estate.
Key Responsibilities Responsible for managing and overseeing hardware Server(Rack , Blader , HCI, etc..). Design and implementation Enterprise Design, which include full stack infra , network, and security Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment and facilities. Demonstrating ability to analyze and leverage data and metrics to challenge current assumptions. Good knowledge for infra and data center monitoring and optimization using native and 3rd party tools. Install components on networks and servers and ensure they work in tandem and can be executed without compilation errors in various platforms and environments. Advanced infrastructure design and documentation skills. Install, configure, and upgrade Nutanix AHV. Design and deploy Nutanix HCI clusters (compute, storage, and networking) Manage clusters using Nutanix Prism (Prism Element & Prism Central) Perform day-to-day operations: node expansion, disk replacement, firmware updates Monitor system health, alerts, and performance metrics Managing the host environment to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity (including web servers, database servers, VMWare, Cisco, Citrix, SAN, directories, and blades). Solid understanding of Converged and hyper-converged infrastructure Solid understanding of storage architecture and design Understanding of network overlays, micro-segmentation, ACI, SDN, and VPC. Enhance and plan capacity and design related to infrastructure engineering projects. Serves as an escalation point for operations (Tier 3 support) for highly complex solution resolution and is responsible for root cause analysis (may involve on-call rotation). Creates and maintains system procedural and technical documentation. Understanding of data center operations Good knowledge of Automation script ( Power CLI, NCLi, power shell, bash, ansible, python). Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies using Nutanix Leap Maintain LLD/HLD diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks

Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Experience:
Excellent organizational and project management skills.7+ years of experience IT Expert in Nutanix Technology Good knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes. Have good experience creating design documents (HLD, LLD) diagrams (Vision) and presentations (PPT) Experience managing hypervisor ( VMware, Hyper-V, Redhat virtualization, Nutanix AHV). Expert in DR Design for infra structure component ( SRM , Leap, VPLEX, GTM) Expert in Virtualization Design.
