Job Objective
To perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems for warehouse handling equipment, specifically Linde and Hangcha forklifts (diesel & electric), ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. The role is suitable for an Electrical Technician or Engineer with solid electrical expertise and reasonable hands-on experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on Linde and Hangcha forklifts (diesel & electric). Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in control systems, CAN bus networks, wiring, and related components. Test electrical, hydraulic, and control circuits using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment. Utilize service tools such as LSG, Extranet, and other diagnostic systems for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics and technical manuals. Coordinate with engineers and technicians to plan and execute maintenance and repair activities. Support resource planning and assist lead engineers in scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance. Maintain accurate service and repair records, analyze performance data, and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably with industrial equipment or warehouse machinery. Practical exposure to mechanical and hydraulic systems is an advantage. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Good understanding of safety standards with a strong commitment to a safe working environment.
