Job Description Supports Marketing Research activities by conducting research, analyzing behavior, and tracking market trends, driving informed marketing decisions through accurate data interpretation, and enhancing strategic planning through translating insights into clear business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Contribute to marketing strategy and planning by analyzing consumer and market insights, and supporting segmentation/targeting decisions. Manage market research projects end-to-end with agencies and internal stakeholders, ensuring timelines, methodology, and data reliability. Support research budgeting by estimating costs, reviewing vendor proposals, and tracking spend. Design and execute quantitative & qualitative studies, and analyze results to deliver actionable market intelligence. Consolidate and interpret consumer insights (surveys, purchase behavior, feedback) to identify motivators, barriers, and growth opportunities. Conduct and analyze Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and NPS surveys to improve customer experience and retention. Monitor industry, market, and macro trends to identify emerging categories, shifting behaviors, and competitive dynamics. Track market share and brand health using sales/equity dashboards and perception metrics (awareness, loyalty, equity). Perform competitive analysis (campaigns, pricing, innovation, sentiment) to identify threats, gaps, and opportunities. Support post-campaign evaluation by compiling KPIs and insights to improve effectiveness and marketing ROI. Ensure research quality and compliance with internal standards and best practices (data validation, analysis accuracy). Translate insights into clear reports, presentations, and recommendations to enable data-driven decisions. Support marketing audits and continuously improve workflows; update and standardize Marketing SOPs. Support execution of Personal Development Plans (PDP) aligned with performance reviews. Provide general marketing admin support (documentation, meeting coordination, presentation prep). Support data entry and archiving (research databases, raw files, data storage).
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Psychology, or related. Experience in quantitative & qualitative research across customer segments. Strong data analysis & visualization skills (e.g., SPSS or similar tools). Skilled in preparing research reports, dashboards, and presentations.
