Finance & Accounting Manager
Location: Riyadh (in-office) Type: Full-time Reports to: Founder / Executive Team About Seera Seera is a premium short-form streaming platform focused on high-quality Arabic micro-dramas. We operate at the intersection of media, technology, and culture, building a modern entertainment company for the MENA region. We are a lean, fast-moving startup and are looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager who can fully own day-to-day finance execution and keep the company clean, compliant, and well-run as we scale. Role Overview This is a hands-on finance role, not a theoretical or advisory position. You will own bookkeeping, accounting, payments, reporting, and compliance, working closely with the founder and external advisors (auditors, tax consultants, banks). You will be responsible for ensuring the books are accurate, cash is controlled, and financial operations run smoothly. Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Own the general ledger, AP/AR, and day-to-day bookkeeping Record and reconcile all financial transactions Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations Manage invoices, vendor payments, and expense tracking Reporting & Controls Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) Track budgets, runway, and cash burn Maintain organized financial records for audits and due diligence Improve basic internal controls and finance processes Payroll, VAT & Compliance Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements Track salaries, contractors, and benefits Assist with VAT filings and local regulatory requirements (KSA and UAE) Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors Operational Support Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis Assist with finance setup for new entities, vendors, or partners Act as the internal owner of all finance-related questions Requirements3–6 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial controls Experience using accounting software (Xero or similar) High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a startup or small-team environment Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong plus) Nice to Have Experience with KSA and UAE VAT and local compliance Startup, media, or tech industry experience Experience working with multi-currency or cross-border transactions Why Join Seera Full ownership of finance operations from day one Direct access to the founder and executive team Clean, well-defined scope with real responsibility Opportunity to grow into a Head of Finance role as the company scales
