About the Role As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will own and elevate our software testing function by:Leading end-to-end testing activities across multiple applications Defining and implementing robust quality control processes Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure top-tier quality throughout the SDLCDriving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, Agile environment
What You’ll Be Doing Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases Oversee functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing Validate data across UI ↔ API ↔ Database layers Analyze test results, log defects, and drive resolution with development teams Lead test automation initiatives and maintain automation frameworks Establish and maintain QA documentation aligned with industry best practices Track quality metrics and provide actionable insights Manage testing resources, timelines, and priorities
Database Ninja Responsibilities (Yes, We’re Serious) Go beyond SELECT * FROM table;Validate data integrity, constraints, and transactions Break foreign keys (on purpose), chase bad joins, and question suspicious stored procedures Ensure data consistency across systems and services
Qualifications & Experience6+ years in Software Quality Assurance, including 2+ years in a senior role Strong experience in manual and automated testing Hands-on with tools like Selenium, JIRA, Test Rail, QTest, or similar Solid understanding of SQL, databases, SDLC, Agile/Scrum QA or Automation certifications are a strong plus
