Job Overview Responsible for supervising and managing the day-to-day operations of the Procurement Team. Oversee and plan all aspects of Food and Non-Food procurement operations within Saudi Arabia operations. Ensure efficient procurement processes and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities Oversee procurement for F&B, OS&E, FF&E, Facilities Management, Repair & Maintenance. Review the effectiveness and efficiency of the Procurement Department. Streamline procurement operations, shorten PR/PO processing paths, simplify administrative tasks, ensure proper tendering procedures, and maintain a unified filing system. Assist in identifying, setting specifications, and standards for major items. Leverage quantity for high-volume and high-value purchases, establish tenders, and lock prices for agreed periods. Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements. Handle internal and external audits, including ISO certification and Food Safety Management System compliance. Collaborate with F&B, Marketing, and potential suppliers to explore joint promotion opportunities. Work with Operations, Stores, and Logistics to review practices and implement appropriate changes in the dynamic Saudi airport and hospitality environment. Provide assistance to headquarters on global sourcing as needed.
Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in F&B, Hotel, or Aviation hospitality sectors. Self-motivated, independent, proactive, and capable of delivering high-quality results under tight schedules. Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other procurement-related software.
