Role Overview The Integration Specialist – Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud. This role involves close collaboration with application teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable integrations in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Build and manage App Driven, Scheduled, and Basic Integrations Develop, configure, and consume REST and SOAP services Implement integrations between internal systems (CRM, Core Systems, Mobile Apps) and external partners(banks, insurers, government services) Design and manage lookups, packages, tracking, fault handling, and reprocessing in OICImplement error handling, retries, monitoring, and alerting for integrations Support API security including OAuth 2.0, certificates, and message-level security Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, infrastructure, and security teams Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live support Prepare and maintain technical documentation and integration specifications Ensure integrations comply with security, audit, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications4+ years of experience in system integration roles3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Strong experience with REST / SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, XSD, and WSDLGood understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, orchestration) Experience integrating Oracle and non-Oracle systems Knowledge of error handling, logging, and monitoring best practices Experience working in financial services or regulated environments is a strong plus Technical Skills Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) REST / SOAP Web Services API Security (OAuth 2.0, certificates) Data mapping and transformation Integration patterns and messaging concepts Basic SQL (Oracle / MS SQL preferred)
Nice to Have Experience with OCI services (Streaming, Object Storage, Autonomous Database) Exposure to Oracle Service Bus (OSB) or other middleware platforms Knowledge of banking, financing, or insurance integrations Familiarity with ITIL, Change Management, and Release Management Experience with event-driven or microservices architectures
