Overview:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This includes servers, networks, cloud systems, and end-user support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple systems in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Manage and maintain Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 to ensure continuous availability.

•Configure and administer Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

•Monitor server performance, apply security updates and patches.

•Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access rights.

•Administer File Server, Print Server, IIS, and WSUS.

•Plan and implement backup and restore policies.

•Configure and monitor Hyper-V or VMware virtual servers.

•Manage Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online integration with Active Directory.

•Monitor system logs (Event Viewer) and troubleshoot issues.

•Apply cybersecurity standards based on NCA/NIST frameworks.

•Manage and renew SSL Certificates.

•Provide advanced technical support to IT staff and end users.

•Accurately document all system configurations and procedures.



Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT role.


Skills:

•Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs), and security principles.

•Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

•Hands-on experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.

•Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

•Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, Comp TIA Server+, or Azure Administrator are preferred.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•High attention to detail and organizational skills.

•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

•Proactive attitude toward system improvements and automation.
