About the Role: Perform function to provide controls/automation technical support, management and execution of large projects/assignments from initial concept to final closeout.
Responsibilities:Concurrently lead and execute medium to high-level control systems projects/assignments in the support of site testing and commissioning Follow engineering standard and project management guidance and business tools, utilizing a systematic approach to project execution. Conducting site survey, operation & maintenance and troubleshooting for on-going and operated projects. Assigning the required tasks to supervisor, technician for integration of field instruments and equipment’s. Develop IO list, ILD, FAT, SAT documents. Develop and update instrument loops diagrams, as well as PFD’s, PIDs, ILDs, and Data Sheets. Developing mapping and panel design for the PLC’s, RTU’s to project engineer / supervisor for fabrication and filed termination. Develop engineering design scopes and packages. Knowledge of international standards and best practices. Review and comment on project design documents for Instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, level and analytical field analyzer ...etc ), in addition to control valves, MOVs, PCVs and FCVs. Lead in installation, Testing and commissioning of the wiring, cabling, and grounding systems following Company and international standards.
Customer satisfaction: Plan all actions & Follow-up of Quality of Execution Contract Deliveries, Customer Inspections, Target Deliveries.
Reporting: Develop all documents necessary for the follow-up of projects /site activities (site survey, Testing, Commissioning and FAT & SAT reports)
Technical assistance/ Support:Provide moderate to high level technical assistance to site operating group through investigations, control system assessments, and design support. Development and engineering solutions using all in-house tools, suppliers & partners Solutions. Defines moderate to complex process control systems requirements on projects including participating in the creation of appropriate documentation (Software Test Plans, User Requirements, System Design Specification document, SAT , O&M documents ). Diagnose technical issues and provide recommendations/ solutions for corrective actions. Program PLC and HMI , RTUs , DCS application for automated process equipment. Lead Technical discussion/communication with customers during the FAT of PLC or IFAT of equipment. Provide new tools/Software to support new PLC/RTUs Product. Support for all R&D for new solutions, products and documented all success stores. Supporting presales team for pilot projects for clients as part of tasks to prove our solutions. Conducting training for customers upon request as part of project execution scope.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical / Electronics /instrumentation) Minimum 7 Year Experience in the same field. Knowledge of Water and Power Projects Experience with NWC, SWCC , SIO , RCKnowledge of ANSI, NEMA, UL, and NEC standards.knowledge with Rockwell Automation “Studio 5000, Factory talk, connected components workbench, RSlogix500, RSlogix5000, RSlinx, Control Logix, Compact Logix and others like ”Siemens / Schneider “S7, Win CC, Unity pro, Wonderware”.
