Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position in Jubail for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in fabrication processes. The role involves supporting engineering activities related to pressure vessels, piping fabrication, welding processes, and mechanical systems. The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will assist in preparing fabrication drawings, reviewing technical documents, participating in workshop activities, and ensuring compliance with ASME and related industry standards. Responsibilities also include supporting project engineering tasks, coordinating with fabrication teams, monitoring quality requirements, and contributing to engineering improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals Knowledge of pressure vessel design, fabrication processes, and ASME standards Basic understanding of piping fabrication, isometrics, and material specifications Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as Auto CAD, Solid Works, or similar Ability to interpret engineering drawings, WPS, PQR, and fabrication procedures Understanding of project coordination and workshop operations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to support quality checks, measurements, and fabrication inspections Knowledge of industry safety protocols and fabrication best practices Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Previous internships or exposure to fabrication workshops, industrial projects, or EPC environments is an added advantage
