About the Role / Role Overview The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing civil engineering activities on-site for a government airport project. This role involves ensuring high-quality construction execution, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining adherence to project timelines and standards over a 36-month contract duration. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all civil works on-site in accordance with project specifications and standards. Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical requirements. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project managers throughout project phases. Review civil engineering plans, reports, and technical documentation. Ensure timely execution of work packages and resolve site-related engineering issues. Utilize civil engineering tools and software, including Auto CAD and structural design applications. Prepare regular progress reports and support project decision-making processes. Requirements Education / Qualification Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized and accredited university. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred. Experience Minimum 12 years of solid experience in mega projects (with attested certificates). At least 4 years as a Senior Civil Engineer in government airport projects within the GCC. Skills & Attributes Strong supervision and site management capabilities for civil construction works. Good background in structural design software and Auto CAD. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Fluent in English and Arabic. Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
