Job Description: Investment Manager – Private Equity Real Estate

Role Summary:
The Investment Manager will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and managing private equity and real estate investments within a multi-asset fund strategy. The role includes due diligence, portfolio construction, and ongoing performance monitoring, with a strong emphasis on private markets and alternative assets. Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Sourcing:
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in private equity, real estate, and alternative assets.
- Develop and maintain a strong deal pipeline through networking, industry research, and relationships with fund managers and advisors.
- Due Diligence and Evaluation:
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, market research, and risk assessments for potential investments.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including review of legal, financial, and operational aspects of investment opportunities.
- Portfolio Construction:
- Develop diversified investment portfolios aligned with the organization's strategic goals and risk tolerance.
- Recommend asset allocations and strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
- Fund Selection:
- Identify and assess external fund managers and investment funds, ensuring alignment with investment criteria and goals.
- Negotiate terms and establish relationships with selected fund managers.
- Transaction Execution:
- Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment deals, including drafting term sheets and closing agreements.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of investments, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, risks, and market insights.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on global market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and sector-specific developments.
- Leverage market insights to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all investments comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with investments.
- Relationship Management:
- Maintain and enhance relationships with fund managers, advisors, and industry stakeholders.

Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in private equity, real estate investments, or asset management.
- Proven track record in sourcing, executing, and managing complex investment transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
