International Sourcing and Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Sourcing and Procurement Manager to oversee global sourcing strategies and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, ensure cost-effectiveness, and maintain quality standards to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Global Sourcing Strategy:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive international sourcing strategies to meet organizational needs.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers across global markets, focusing on quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  1. Supplier Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and address any compliance issues.
  1. Procurement Operations:
  • Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials and services to meet production or operational needs.
  1. Cost Optimization & Budget Management:
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop budgets for sourcing and procurement and ensure adherence to financial targets.
  1. Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure sourcing activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, geopolitical changes, and market fluctuations.
  1. Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.


Skills

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in sourcing and procurement, with at least 3 years in an international role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Deep understanding of international trade laws, logistics, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong leadership skills, cultural awareness, and adaptability to work in a global environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent international travel may be required.
  • Office-based with occasional visits to suppliers and production sites.
