External to RLIC Camps Superintendent (N-2590-7)

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Camps Operations and Maintenance Head overseeing and stewarding camp services / operations, including development and implementation of camp management systems, activities and programs by the EPC Contractors and their sub-contractors
  • Deliver NFE Onshore Project’s oversight and management of the EPC Contractors’ Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) programs for its construction labour camps external to RLIC with a specific focus on heath, hygiene and HACCPS compliance.
  • Liase, as necessary, with RLIC in support of EPC Contractor efforts to deliver safe and compliant off RLIC camp operations.
  • Develop reports on the status of off RLIC provided camp operations to the Camps Operations and Maintenance Head, covering all aspects of camp management such as manpower forecasting, camp availability, issues, non compliances, areas of concern and maintenance status
  • Support, assess and steward the EPC Contractors’ reporting, investigation, and resolution of off RLIC camp SHES incidents in coordination with the SHES Department.
  • Support the QELNG PMT Transport Head with assuring the Contractor delivered safe and efficient transportation of Contractor and subcontractor personel from off RLIC camp accommodation to NFXP worksites.
  • Attend, on behalf of QG PMT, Camp Welfare Committee Meetings, Camp Food Committee Meetings and other external Camp related meetings. Works in collaboration with the EPC Contractors to provide a united project position with RLIC


Part B: Candidate Specification – Minimum Requirements

Technical And Business Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Strong planning, organisational and prioritising skills.
  • Good computer literacy skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).


Behavioural Skills

  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively at offsite locations


Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Humanities or Business or equivalent experience in senior management position of workers camps.

Knowledge And/or Experience

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in management, operations and maintenance of industrial workers camps (construction, O&G, mining etc). Ideally have direct experience in camp administration / camp boss with experience in implementation of HACCPS. Experience of having worked both within Contractor and Client organisations
