Job description / Job purpose:

• Provide technical and project execution services.
• Basic and detailed engineering of offshore structural, both Brownfield and Greenfield.

Reporting lines and interactions

• Functionally reports to HOD structural.

Role and Accountabilities

• Perform analyses, design, and checking of drawing.
• Experience in both brownfield and greenfield engineering.
• Design of fixed offshore platforms
• Jacket,
• Topsides / Deck
• Extensive Brownfield experience
• Re-assessment of Old platforms
• In-place fatigue analysis (both deterministic and spectral)
• Transportation, lift, on-bottom stability, pile drivability, sea-fastenings
• Pushover analysis
• Miscellaneous brownfield design works
• Design of different types of connections, pad-eyes, clamps, etc.,
• Design of Pipe Supports, Equipment Supports, CTS supports, etc.
• Design/replacement of Risers, J-tubes.
• Removal, replacement, installation sequences
• Equipment changeouts
• Jack-up tie-ins to Platforms
• Boat landing – both new design and removals/replacements
• Protector Structure
• Site survey and report

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural engineering discipline
• Minimum of Twelve – Fifteen years of experience in the design of offshore structures/platforms
• Hands-on experience / Expertise in SACS & ANSYS.
• International codes and standards – API RP 2A, AISC, DNV
• Excellent communication skills (both writing and speaking).

Nice to have:

• Post Graduation in Offshore Engineering / Ocean Engineering (Preferable)
• Experience in Navis Works, GRLWEAP, STAAD Pro., ANSYS, ABAQUS, MOSES, USFOS
• Experience in the design of floating offshore structures.
• Exposure to Structural Fabrication, Yard Engineering, etc.
• Experience in EPIC projects.
• FEA package experience
