Job Purpose

Manage and oversee the comprehensive planning and coordination of airport operations. Ensure optimal resource allocation, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with industry standards to enhance operational efficiency and improve passenger experience. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, implementing process improvements, and maintaining the highest levels of operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Position Accountability Description

Strategic Leadership:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive planning strategies that align with the airport's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
2. Oversee the coordination of airport operations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and stakeholder alignment to meet organizational objectives and industry standards.
3. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational planning and drive continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence:

1. Manage daily operations by overseeing team activities, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to policies, maintaining smooth and efficient departmental functioning.
2. Lead process improvements by analyzing current practices, identifying inefficiencies, and applying best practices, resulting in increased productivity and reduced costs.
3. Plan and develop comprehensive airport flights scheduling and allocation strategies, ensuring smooth operations and seamless passenger flow in accordance with Matarat policies, guidelines, and standards.
4. Manage detailed Capacity assessment and analyze passenger traffic trends to determine future capacity requirements and assess the need for infrastructure improvements or expansions to accommodate growth.

Education Background

Bachelor’s degree: Aviation Management, Business Administration or equivalent.

Relevant Experience

Minimum of 8 years of total experience in airport operations, planning, or a related field, with a minimum experience in a management or leadership role.
